1. Introduction

Welcome to PromptMaster. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

PromptMaster is a personal portfolio and pre-revenue software project. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

2. Your Account

To use PromptMaster, you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

When using PromptMaster, you agree not to:

• Submit harmful, illegal, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content (enforced by automated content moderation)
• Attempt prompt injection, system manipulation, or any technique designed to bypass our safety measures
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service without our permission
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the service in any way that degrades it for other users
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: the ideas you submit and the outputs generated from them belong to you. PromptMaster does not claim ownership over any user-generated content.

Our service: the PromptMaster application, including its code, design, branding, and prompt engineering, is the intellectual property of the operator. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service itself.

5. Service Availability

PromptMaster is a portfolio project and does not guarantee any specific level of uptime, availability, or performance. The service may be taken offline, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

We rely on third-party services (OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel) that may experience outages beyond our control.

6. Pricing and Payments

PromptMaster currently offers its features free of charge during the beta period. The Pro tier is available at no cost while we are in beta.

No real payment transactions are currently processed. When commercial pricing is introduced in the future, it will be clearly communicated to all users in advance.

7. Content Moderation

All submitted ideas are automatically screened by OpenAI's Moderation API. Ideas flagged as harmful, violent, sexual, or otherwise unsafe will be rejected.

Moderation decisions are fully automated. There is currently no human review process or appeals mechanism. We log moderation results for auditing and safety purposes.

If the moderation system is temporarily unavailable, your submission will be blocked until it becomes available again (fail-closed policy).

8. Limitation of Liability

The prompts, roadmaps, research, and safety notices generated by PromptMaster are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice.

PromptMaster is not liable for any code, applications, or products built using generated prompts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and testing any output before using it in production.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptMaster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of PromptMaster is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, including your profile, generation history, and moderation logs. This action cannot be undone.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
